About Us

For more than 50 years, the Keck Family has served Colby and the surrounding communities. 

Beginning in 1970, Bill and Billie Keck opened a Gambles store in downtown Colby. Bill Keck established a customer service standard from day one that we do our best to uphold. In 1983 the Kecks transitioned from Gambles to True Value Hardware. In 1994 it was time for the second generation to take over. David and Terri Keck purchased True Value Hardware from Bill and Billie and then began the transition to what is now Colby Furniture. In 2020 Kaylee and Seth Hennes joined the family business , beginning our 3rd generation as a family-owned business.

We remodeled our new location in 2023, and are now located at 1175 S Range Ave., Colby, KS.
